An extended weekend filled with family, laughter, memory-making and walks down memory-lane, late-night talks, more family, more laughter....all the perfect components making up Memorial Day weekend 2013 as we celebrated Jon and Angela and the start of their life together as Mr. and Mrs. :) As many of us would say, "it's about time!"
My mom and I started our northern trek to Spokane, WA the same afternoon as Carson's Kindergarten graduation and although it was a little bit of a rough start for our boys due to such a crazy day, they traveled pretty well, tiredness and all. Baker City, OR was our stopping point for the night and the next day we drove on through new surrounding scenery and enjoyed the laughter and chatter all the way there...our "dashing Sue" was quite the companion. Our family came from all different directions and travel modes so the reunion was quite sweet as we finally met up in one united group. Let the festivities begin!!! :)
