Fall Favorites

In case you haven't figured it out by now, fall would be my favorite season...for a variety of reasons. A fall scented candle fills the house with it's glorious aroma, my coffee mug containing pumpkin flavored goodness, bread in the oven, and sweatshirts to combat the crisp chill in the air. Some of these favorites I share with you in photo form letting the expressions, the items, the favorites speak for themselves!!

LEEEAAAAAVVVEEESS!!!

You can't go through a fall season without making at least one batch of our favorite fall decorated cookies! They pair with coffee quite well.....

rainy fall days...definitely a favorite! :)
We had a taste of that distinct crisp air along with a dusting of snow brushing the tops of the mountains a week ago. And it sounds like more fall-icious weather is on it's way!! Time to break out some winter gear I think as we head to Tahoe/Carson City! More fall favorites to come as we look forward to a fun-filled weekend as a FFof5! :)

Soccer season completion!

We made it...9 straight weeks of soccer and more soccer all coming to a halt in a matter of 36 hours! 3 final games, 3 end-of-the-season parties and 3 more soccer trophies to line the boys' shelves. And the cleats stowed away for another year.

just having some fun taking pics. with my soccer boys :) LOVE THEM!
It was a steady string of week/weekend soccer activity but not without an intense game or two :), a lot of laughs, some other random fun mixed into the less than mundane.......and one tired mama. Totally worth it.
movie night for Mason's soccer party!
And Kevin with the photo bomb :)

He could hardly wait until he got his very first soccer trophy ;)

loved coaching my son and my nephew!! :) (2 ties and 5 wins for the season...yeah Blue Lightning!)

Austin stopping the other team from scoring (quite a few times!)...

..and then he finally got a goal!!! Nice way to end the season bud!

Mason's final soccer day...he'll be one to watch! :)

We were one day post-soccer and this mini-man was gearing up for his next sport already. Yes, this year, he is finally old enough to join the t-ball ranks.

...the bat tap...

..the leg up...

..and it's outta here!
And while daddy is away...we just continue to play! (and he's bringing home the elk meat this time!! WooHoo!!!) Praise God for His provisions!! :)
mama/son moments...
These little artists just can't stop sometimes....we sat in the school parking lot before the bell rang so they could have "2 more minutes...."

the first of the leaf raking/gathering...

...which leads to wrestling of course...

and wrestling with mama no doubt!
leaves everywhere!

Sheer joy!

my view every morning after dropping the boys off at school...for a few more days at least. :)
