I can't even believe I'm about to say what I'm going to say. Another summer is coming to a close all too quickly and yes, that can only mean one thing....school is starting in a matter of days. Ready or not. I'll just throw out the forewarning right now--I'll be a mess next week. A sobbing, coffee-downing, to-do-list making, mom-of-a-mess. My oldest will be off to middle school (5th grade), my middle in 3rd, and my baby is off to Kindergarten. A fair amount of Kleenex is already being stowed away in various places for those inopportune times of tears. There has been a lot of discussion and exploration the past few months of what's next now that all my boys will be in school, but I'll save more of that 'what now' chapter for another posting. This one is a lot of "catching up pictures" of our adventures since returning from MN, pre & post Carson's surgery. Not much reading, just a lot of picture browsing! Enjoy!! :)

More 'summering' has been done of course, but well, those repeated pictures of playing games, star-gazing, bike riding, ice cream eating, fort making, etc. do get a little redundant. Just know that this mama, this FFof5, is soaking up these days before the school/fall activities craze really kicks into high gear next week with all of the above and then some! In fact, at the moment, I'm seeing the Phase 10 cards laid out...game on! :)
